WFLC is leading efforts to ensure that logging rules employ the best available science to protect our threatened salmon runs.
- WFLC is coordinating and leading the Forests and Fish Conservation Caucus's participation in Washington’s Forest Practices Adaptive Management Program. The Caucus’s goal is to ensure implementation of the Forest Practices Habitat Conservation Plan and its Adaptive Management Program using best available science to restore and provide protection for aquatic and riparian-dependent species in compliance with the Endangered Species Act and the Clean Water Act.
